A 5-day procedure writing workshop for advanced users of MET/CAL Plus Calibration Software

Description
This 5-day advanced MET/CAL Procedure Writing class is for experience MET/CAL users who would like to improve their skills in developing procedures. Students will perform hands-on exercises designed to expand their ability to create, modify and test calibration procedures, using the IEEE and RS-232 interface to control the calibrator and th unit under test. In this workshop, you will focus on the use of the IEEE, PORT and MATH FSCs (Function Select Codes), and on the use of Memory Registers.

Course Outline

• Review of procedure writing fundamentals
• Using the Editor's hot keys
• Brief review of MET/CAL commands (FSC)
• Test running procedures
• Using the IEEE FSC
• Using the PORT FSC
• Using the MATH FSC
• Using MEMCX with MEMI, IEEE & Port FSCs
• Using the ACC & ACCF FSCs
• Procedure writing techniques
  • Single stepping and viewing register contents
  • Error handling techniques

Pre-Requisite
Registrants for this course are expected to have a working knowledge of MET/CAL calibration software and a minimum of six months experience writing and editing closed loop IEEE calibration procedures.

This course will be taught using the latest released version of MET/CAL software.
